Art Hikes & Workshops
Join me for an evening of watercolor painting! Sign up here on Eventbrite!
In this fun workshop, I will walk you through the steps to draw and paint your own heart shaped prickly pear cactus using pencils and watercolor paints. In my signature playful, realistic style, I will teach you my tips for how to notice details, color match, blend colors, and add details to make your own striking piece of artwork. This is a great workshop to do by yourself or with a friend! No previous experience required, this workshop is for both beginners and experienced painters.
You'll be painting in the beautiful, newly opened Once Wild Salon. This gorgeous space will surely help inspire your creativity when we get to painting.
This workshop is limited to 10 people so there will be plenty of 1-on-1 time with me if you have questions.

February Art Hike - Sabino Canyon w/ The Kula Academy
Saturday February 18 - Sign Up here on Eventbrite
All participants will be required to complete a waiver prior to meeting at the trailhead.
Join us for a hike in Sweetwater Preserve! We'll meet at 8:45am at the Sweetwater Preserve Trailhead parking lot. This easy trail meanders through beautiful desert scenery of saguaros, ocotillo, prickly pear, and creosote. After 1.5 miles we'll break for an hour to draw, paint, journal, etc. Stephanie will provide some instruction on how to capture the scenery with your medium of choice and then let you explore your creativity on your own. We'll then hike the last mile back to the parking lot. This sandy, sometimes rocky trail offers no shade so make sure to bring sun protection. This trail system is popular for hikers, trail runners and mountain bikers so we will be prepared to share the trail. This is a great trail for beginners and experienced hikers alike. Dogs are allowed but must be leashed.
